Overview of Hot Melt Adhesive:
Hot Melt Adhesive, also known as Hot Melt Glue is a 100% solid thermoplastic resin that liquefies when heated. When it cools, hardens on surfaces, it can bond two non-porous materials within seconds. It contains no solvents, no water, so it is eco-friendly and won’t be moldy. It is a form of thermoplastic adhesive that is designed to be applied for melting in the glue tank.
Hot melt adhesive provides several advantages over solvent-based adhesives. Volatile organic compounds(VOCs) are reduced or eliminated, and the drying or curing step is eliminated. Hot melt adhesive has a long shelf life and usually can be disposed of without special precautions. There are various bases of hot melt adhesive, including EVA, HMPSA, TPR / Rubber, APO/APAO, Polyamide, PUR, etc.

EAV Hot Melt Adhesive
EVA-based hot melt adhesives are normally for general purposes with no specific bonding requirements.
EVA-based hot melt adhesives, an economical grade with nice shear strength, commonly adopted in the packaging industry, work for general paper packaging, such as, normal corrugated papers, and fast production. EVA-based hot melt adhesives are price competitive and thus become the most popular hot melt adhesives basis in markets.

Polyurethane (PUR) hot melt adhesive
Polyurethane (PUR) hot melt adhesive, combines the good initial holding strength of hot melt adhesives with the strength of structural adhesives. Heating is not required when it comes to operation.
